Welcome and thanks for visiting!  I believe that reformation through the arts and humanities is as necessary as breathing.  Dedicated teachers of the arts and humanities especially are noteworthy individuals deserving of praise.

Music teachers, for their marvelous talents, are gifted and active purveyors of human culture and heritage.

Because music is an irreplaceable core connecting lives worldwide, it is indispensable.  From joyous occasions to mourning, music provides meaning and validation.  Music integrates disciplines thus exposure to and expression of music is essential.

Mother's singing, teaching and instrumental prowess throughout my life captivated my imagination and awakened my senses.  Decades later, I remain enamored with her magnificent gift and the courage she exhibited during her eventful life.  There is comfort in knowing her suffering due to Multiple Sclerosis has ended.  Though, with trembling hand I wipe bittersweet tears, missing her immensely.

This tribute website is a project created in celebration of her musical legacy.  Feel welcome to share comments regarding Music and the impact a Musician or Music Educator has had on you.  As well, please remember to support justice for the late individuals who have perished due to unnecessary killing by some in law enforcement (e.g., Elijah McClain).

    Ever yours in music,

    Dr. DaBeth Manns
